My name is Abby A. Knowles. I am a Cincinnati native currently living in East Walnut Hills. After high school at Cincinnati Country Day I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for Environmental Studies and Philosophy. After college I chose to pursue my love of cooking and moved further west to Portland, Oregon where I obtained my Culinary Arts degree from Western Culinary Institute.
My love of cooking began at a young age and I have been fortunate to work with some wonderful chefs in our area including Suzie DeYoung and Jean-Robert deCavel. I worked under Chef deCavel at Pigall's for 2 years before helping open Lavomatic in Over-The-Rhine as Sous Chef.
Today, I greatly enjoy helping individuals eat wonderful meals they may not have time or know how to create themselves. My goal is to provide you with food that fits your needs and at the same time you are excited about eating. Following a diet is dull and quickly becomes mundane. I hope to inspire you about your food choices and provide tasty and healthy foods convenient to you and your friends and family!
